Ich bin in Österreich in die Schule gegangen und bei mir war es ungefähr so:

• 1. Klasse VS: wir lernen Druckschrift
• 2. Klasse VS: wir lernen Schreibschrift, und sobald wir damit durch sind, sind alle Abgaben in reiner Schreibschrift zu machen
• am Anfang des Gymnasiums, ich weiß nicht mehr, ob 1. oder 2. Klasse (d.h. 5. oder 6. Schulstufe, in Österreich beginnt jede neue Schulform neu die Klassen zu zählen): uns wird beigebracht (dafür gibt es sogar ein Kapitel in einem Schulbuch), dass jeder Mensch seine individuelle Handschrift hat und es nicht normal, verpflichtend oder auch nur besonders gut ist, absolut alle Buchstaben miteinander zu verbinden

Dementsprechend verbinde ich Buchstaben heute teilweise, wenn es praktisch ist; teilweise aber auch nicht.

Federation, like what we’re doing here, can make it so that everyone’s personal “center” can be whatever platform they choose to use most of the time. Someone trying to communicate may be using an entirely different one, it will still get federated to whatever you prefer.

Das Deutschlandticket ist m.W. (und auch laut dem verlinkten Artikel) bei den meisten Anbietern nur digital (in der App oder Google/Apple Wallet) gültig. Ich hab meine bisher auf https://deutschlandticket.de/ gekauft und da ist es jedenfalls so, widerwillig hab ich Google Wallet verwendet … (hab eh nicht vor, so bald wieder nach Deutschland zu reisen)

depends on what you want to do with your computer? If you want to deeply get into the internals of your computer, including writing your own software, then you’ll probably have to touch the terminal at some point. If all you want to do is web browsing or photo editing or something, then you might never need it.

Man mag von Palantir oder Peter Thiel halten, was man will, aber kann man wenigstens irgendwie kohärent argumentieren, was daran falsch sein soll, statt (offensichtlich) völlig gegensätzliche Ideologien in einen Topf zu werfen?
