Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•oh no guys theyre gonna report us to the FBIEnglish
2·16 hours agoIf you’re privately advocating for it when you haven’t done the harder activism first there’s also room for introspection
(Try and probably find there’s too much policy/community work to have time to think about violence)
So the OP goes against her wishes and is showing a face that doesn’t belong to her?
Jokes aside OP is then an unlabeled manipulated photo which a person won’t catch unless they know Ms. Diaz. This is bad and we can’t stand for it.
10 years ago on Reddit:

But danger
For real
Unlikely I’d think, too much money riding on it, so much attention from analytics firms - unless you mean buying thumbs ups which is probably popular albeit a little cat and mouse

Technology@lemmy.world•Apple’s AirPods with cameras for AI are apparently close to productionEnglish
1·5 days agoAnd the footage itself doesn’t even become illegal even when the trespass was in fact illegal, I heard - can’t require deletion I think? (Of course the property owner or their associates might be bigger than you!)

1·5 days agothat is going to be outside anyones control.
Apple could theoretically lock it down [for a period of time] but darn—you made me realize the clones will have real cameras and look 1:1 before long
…lol “Siri, verify nearby AirPods” (…then the bad guy keeps a real pair activated nearby? and it’s back to creepy)

This may be a first of its kind hardware issue for Apple, unless I’m forgetting something

Nice (& I’m unique again on AmIUnique)
Aircraft don’t always have transponders on so can’t rely on flight trackers
Imagine blinding a [military] pilot even just for the briefest moment. We can’t keep them in the sky on a good day for reasons I don’t understand (they’ll hit commercial aircraft or vice versa!)
Places like Santa Cruz simply fought these spy cams with their voices. Riseeee upppp, no votes for any city councilpeople who are OK Flocking up their own turf

Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•Oreo flavored Reese's and Reese's flavored OreosEnglish
3·5 days agoWe do, though a single one costs as much as the entire package of “cookies” in the picture (unless baked right at home!)
I had to go back to the first panel to notice the sidewalk pavers & 💨, then looked at last panel again & saw how it zoomed out, indicating she’d been going “against” traffic on the “one-way sidewalk”

2·6 days agoYes, I want to appear to be using the same device as like anyone. Think that’s rather Tor’s philosophy.

1·6 days agoCDNs serve different sizes accordingly I thought? Sometimes. Deliver pages faster without noticeable image compression. Don’t some large sites do this all the time? Based on viewport size

6·6 days agoKinda like they feed Cover Your Tracks to an LLM’s template so you can experience the data in narrative form
(No LLM used when you visit the site, just when they built it, is what I’m guessing here)

1·6 days agoThe way and what you type, how you move your mouse, when you browse…
Think we can make things more difficult, but just assume tracked everywhere. Won’t know about browser privacy 0days either for who knows how long.
Some stuff has to be reported accurately for stuff to work well, like screen size. Other stuff can be and is faked, even by Apple out of the box I’m pretty sure.
Not my area of expertise :)

gotta be noisy, here’s hoping!

Then she fought in court instead of giving up the money?
