is very important.
I figured it was probably an isolated wearing, and of course kids don’t want to be the one who tells on someone.
So he had no real excuse on Star Wars. Not that the early films were less obvious, but there was less to work with and the joke was “the Empire did nothing wrong” to side on the cool side of their tech. But once you pass the point where one of the Dark Side is killing children…and are okay with that not even in a handwaving manner…
I was trying to be nice, as it sounded like I hit a nerve when I was just conversing (literally the community name). You didn’t understood my point on my own situation, but we’ll just leave this as a total misunderstanding on my replies to avoid any more conflicts.
This is common knowledge by now I think, and yet evidence shows common doesn’t mean people remember. If you ship anything, fragile or not, be sure to pack it like it’s going to be thrown, dropped, get wet, and stepped on. It’s not even that workers in shipping do this (most damage is usually either bad packaging or mechanical damage in the automated parts), but things happen between point A and point B, many of them unavoidable. And I see SO MANY packages that consist of just some thin cardboard with a few pieces of tape, or a plastic bag that’s easily torn, or documents/letters that are smaller than the label we put on them(??? That won’t get lost :/ )
Pack things like you want to to make it there. Just look at packages you get successfully, and I guarantee on many you’ll see marks of the war zone they went through. Now imagine if they had been sent with an old worn out box you found in the garage and threw some tape on and didn’t bother putting any protective packing inside because “it’ll be fine if it bounces around a bit”.
Going through hospice with my parents I saw this first hand even in that brief time, and imagined how it must be going on constantly in every hospital and facility everywhere. And the thing is, it’s necessary in most cases because going back to how it was done before would be a nightmare just from the aspect of things being sterile.
Amazing that the school didn’t do anything. Curious as to which era of Star Wars this was? Early, Prequels, later?
Upvote for you, I didn’t mean to offend and suggest camping itself was bad, only that it’s not for me. Even in a few days things can change. For my part I had just started a few days into a week of vacation from work and the news hit, and I wondered if I’d have a job to go back to.
I’m more lenient than most of the other posts, mainly because at this stage I think filtering and moderation is difficult to do. I also think arguing about if AI art is bad or not is a bit late now given it’s everywhere in the open public domain. Was it wrong in how it was generated, absolutely. I don’t think at this point using that as a rallying cry is useful, especially since so many memes do the exact same thing, piggybacking on someone else’s work.
So I think stick with original rules of higher quality and don’t try to chase the impossible path of determining origins. If anything have in the rules that AI generation be labeled as such to let those who want to avoid it for whatever reasons be able to filter them out. I don’t think the mods should have to become experts on AI detection (like anyone is at the rate it’s going).
That’s a definite connection. :D As long as you stay in their good graces.

The max thresholds don’t mean it’s fine if it’s lower, just that at some point it becomes difficult to both detect the presence of things and there’s a limit on how much can be prevented. If we were progressing in time correctly we should be lowering these maximum levels both in the ability of detection and in the beginning sources. Especially in cases like this where either the metals are being added or are part of specific ingredients that would cost more to process and remove the metals.
And wow, they said Washington State was lower than the FDA, but that’s a magnitude less! Good job, Washington!
Elise’s early website (under <1999) is vintage web work. Even got on the Discovery Channel! We don’t make websites that cool anymore.
Early summer on the NC beaches can be a bit brisk with the wind. But they’re the best beaches. :D
Don’t worry, there is no way you can possibly taste the vanilla part with that color.
“Danger to humans” simply means they would run rather than attack you. Holding it like that, if your hand is in the wrong place you might still lose it.
Mass bleaching has been monitored throughout the Great Barrier Reef since the 80s. There was certainly bleaching but not at the level seen in the years listed, and look how that frequency changed. I doubt it’s because we got better at documenting bleaching effects. The important thing is that bleaching to some degree is normal, but typically the population would have time to recover before the next event, and they would be localized. Large scale and every year doesn’t allow recovery.
