You’re probably right that the value density of RAM sticks is better… But NVidia B300 GPUs are still ~$45,000 each. A backpack full is still quite a lot of money.
If I remember correctly the OP of this network traffic graph figured out that their network equipment were accidentally misattributing the traffic to the washer, and it was actually some other device that had caused the traffic.
It’s rather dry humor but I had a pretty good amount of laughs and chuckles from “Thomas Was Alone”
Or in some cases ONLY allowing them to reach the Internet. So they can’t access your other devices…

I would frankly prefer a thick accent, and some subtitles… Even AI generated subtitles with a quick proofread pass, is vastly superior to AI voices IMO
To me it’s definitely worth it. Many of my favorite creators are already on there. I get exclusives and early releases, high definition, and no ads. And the nice fuzzy feeling of knowing that my views result in the creator receiving some actual money.
I still use YouTube quite a lot… But I find that I’m using Nebula more and more as time goes by.
Yes. But also entirely ad-free, and with lots of quality creators. And it’s quite a bit cheaper than pretty much any other streaming service.

I think the important bit to understand here is that LLMs are never not hallucinating. But they sometimes happens to hallucinate something correct.
How much do you think a weighted blanket weighs?

Just remember that fuel doesn’t have a very long shelf life. I’ve heard people mention numbers between 3 and 6 months. Apparently there are additives that can be added to the fuel to keep it stable for longer.
Why would it be too late?
If the state of things really are that bad, doesn’t it make sense to try to correct things? The best time to start correcting is certainly in the past… But the next best time to start correcting is now.

I realised a while ago that it’s way cheaper to hunt for second-hand intel NUCs, and the resulting machine is way more powerful… And the RAM and storage is upgradeable, if the NUC didn’t come with plenty of storage or RAM already…

Immich is a self-hosted photo and video management system. It’s heavily inspired by Google Photos.

Sure, building your own breadboard computer is much better than playing with some website… However transistors and relays are kind of similar in function, they both gate whether current flows.
If you are already familiar with transistors, then I agree those are a simpler introduction, however most regular people don’t know anything about a transistor, and they seem a little bit magical.
A relay however can be grasped by most people just by looking at it in operation. Magnet attracts… Electromagnets only attracts when powered… wire doesn’t conduct when not connected… Wire does conduct when connected… Electromagnet can pull or push wire to either connect or disconnect…
If you want the solution for the first task (building a nand gate with relays), you can see my solution here:
