Boy is on a roll
Wtf he’s done it again
Just checked the all time top scorer of the ACL has 42 goals, who wants to bet Ronaldo reaches that in 4-5 years if he stays in Al Nassr?
I’m surprised it’s that low tbh
This is a better goal than the first
I really hope he n Al nassr win this Champions league and Messi n Inter Miami win the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup so we possibly have both in the 2025 FIFA Club WC
Doooooooood 😮
I wish they played together
Hope he stays in form just in time for the Euros, still a looong time to go
Nothing would make me more happy than Ronaldo reaching 1000 career goals, i hope he does
Same goal as Mbappe during the world cup final !
I hope he wins the AFC.
What weak foot? Such an amazing goal.
The second best left foot in the world
Nah he’s still unreal… an outrageous volley on his weak foot and he still makes it look easy.
He thinks he’s playing in the champions league lol, what a goat
Ngl that is a sweet ass cross
Something interesting that I’m only noticing now.
Even dating back a couple years when Ronaldo was still at Real M, I remember thinking that some of his finishings of chances like this one were ‘unimpressive’. What I mean by unimpressive is that shots looked a bit dull and while going in, they weren’t really ‘beautiful’.
What I realise now is that it is by design. Ronaldo understands that the most important part of converting this opportunity into a goal scoring threat is to:
- Get the shot on target
- Give it enough power without compromising accuracy
And to do these two things, you gotta sacrifice a bit of the element of turning it into a beautiful volley that lands under the bar. What you get in return is scoring nearly everyone of these chances.
This is probably quite obvious for a lot of fans, but I’m just figuring it out now and am happy to do it cuz it will change my approach to shooting in real football too. Thanks Ronnie, you shameless bastard.
