we’re obviously not much of a barometer, but I am surprised at how common it is here in Argentina. The Barca jersey was very common (now not nearly as much) but I’ve seen way more Miami jerseys than I saw PSG jerseys when Messi joined them. I thought the PSG ones would be more common because it’s already more of a brand than Miami, but I’ve seen a lot more Miami shirts
That’s nothing I’ve seen real madrid shirts with messi written on the back.

In fact I went to a store the other day where every single staff member was wearing the Miami messi jersey, it was their uniform.
Yeah. because it’s a Messi jersey and not really a miami jersey (whatever a miami is).

It may be a relatively shite league, but I doubt supporters of the other 28 teams in the MLS would agree with you.
Just fyi Miami was literally the worst team in the league when they bought Messi
