These tiny red dots are Tiggerpods. This jar feels more alive than some of my freshwater ecospheres.

    Marine ecosystems tend to be more diverse so the large variety of organisms makes sense. However I would say that you shouldn’t expect it to survive long because seacospheres are notorious for being extremely difficult to get working properly. Please send us updates to how it goes!

      Tiggerpods are extremely resistant to almost everything. I just put a few scuds, tiny snails and a macroalgae in there and it looks good so far. My >3.0% salinity jar is also pretty healthy and survived temperatures above 30°C. It’s around months old and a few snails, copepods and tiny worms are living in there. The macroalgae (Caluerpa something) is growing fast. I will post pictures soon.
