    Just a suggestion: since this is a news community, a more descriptive title might be better.

      I just use the site titles and this one was… less than descriptive. I’ll keep an eye out in the future 😉

        Yeah, in cases like this I tend to add the subtitle or make a quick description myself. I used to post a lot of news on Reddit. The official title was always preferred but also not always particularly good.

          Digging deeper, I’ve noticed something interesting. In Lemmy on the web, there is a little + icon next to almost all titles in c/news and when pressed, does indeed show the subtitle of the post. For this post, it reads: “Let’s talk about our plans for Wayland support for Budgie Desktop and the work we are doing to make it a reality.”

          Now, on Memmy, my mobile client, that isn’t an option, or at least, I can’t figure out how to get there. Possibly not implemented yet with most of these mobile apps being so new.

          Either way, just something I noticed and was pleased about.
