So there a highly technologically advanced theme park hole, that exists on earth, in a denny’s, and rick had no idea it was there? I think it’s simpler, I think rick built and tested it on himself enough to lose his fears hence his apathy and bravado. I believe that’s why it contains Diane as well, as he probably modeled it’s ability to determine fears off of his own memories.
