I really have to give them flowers and props for becoming an icon of Halloween and horror despite their limitations.
Sam only has a few minutes of screen time but to see him become an horror icon among the greats is amazing. I went Halloween shopping today and saw Sam’s funko pops, costumes, masks, dolls, etc.
This movie has never even had a theatrical release until October 2022. Let that sink in. Just been showing at screenings and festivals and then released on dvds.
And it’s fun, scary, funny horror movie too. I know Michael Dougherty is doing something on a sequel can’t wait to see what he does with it! I’m glad to see his movie and characters get love and attention.
If you haven’t seen trick r treat, I highly recommend it! It’s very good
