I liked the print as it was kinda retro colorful, so I sewed it into a bag with toggle closure and belt loops. The canvas belt is also a revived old belt I got 25 years ago. My mum made me the little labels (I had to edit my name off them for the internet!)

Oh dang this is rad and like exactly what I should do, but the fabric I have that I would use is some antique Navajo woven cloth so I should probably hand sew it with a matching yarn. Or find some other cloth because its almost tuna and piñon season. Is the bottom a oval or is there some curve to match how it rests against your leg.

I recommend trying with a boring fabric first. I was lucky it worked out on the initial go, but it’s a little fiddly getting the ‘D’ shape of the bag.

That’s from necklace making parts. I have some and never thought to use them like that.

I have so many random bits from thrifting, that’s exactly what it is!
