    Correction from vid - With a dex, actually, derivatives or not, it shouldn’t effect price like naked shorting does. As long as the liquidity is matched in a true stable of some type and the liquidity of the pair isn’t yanked in an amm. In an dex orderbook, it shouldn’t matter at all, as long as it’s really decentralized and regularly verified on chain. However if the derivative version of the real thing is large enough to influence price and sentiment as the “true” price, and/or arbitage between the two, that’s an issue worth considering.
