Arlington Public Schools Superintendent Francisco Durán has proposed a 2024-2025 budget that he says avoids new expenses in a lean fiscal year compounded by state funding uncertainty.

The gist I’m getting is the the school budget is just getting a 1.5% inflation adjustment and Arlington is avoiding outright cuts with this budget. It will likely not keep up with inflation though. This includes the property tax hike on top of everything.
