It is absolutely ludicrous of Mané’s PR manager to claim that people at Bayern were jealous/shocked that Mané was the highest earner in the club and ‘pushed’ him out of the team because they did not want an African to be the highest wage earner. If that was true, they would never have given that wage in the first place. Also whenever the topic of his wage came up, it was because his performance was nowhere near the standard expected given his wage.
