Just looking at Dejong’s contract too, he’s not strictly a rental either, although he could be with team options for '24 and '25. Gives us some flexibility there, if we want to keep him around as our 2B if he’s open to playing there. Or if we can finally convince Bo to move to 2nd, but I don’t see that happening.
Seems to confirm Bo’s going to be out for a while. Unless Dejong is going to be playing 2B?

Really hoping that this trade is just to get more infield depth and have a safety net but we’ll have to wait and see when they release more info on Bo.
