Fuck basketball, I just hope he can live a good life. Cardiac arrest before 20 has to be frightening.

If it’s an underlying condition, that could seriously affect his chances at ballin’ professionally at a high level.

Totally agree, they should take the time to understand what caused it and how likely it is to return. It’s obvious but compared to almost every other prospect, Bronny is lucky to have no financial needs in life and can very easily stop playing anytime he wants.

I can’t imagine how scary that must have been to him and his family. A heart problem at that age, oof.

Holy fuck. How could this happen?

There’s no way he’s not one of the fittest athletes and involved with crazy amount of trainers and doctors

Basketball players often have a higher risk of heart issues just due to their height and the heart having to work harder to pump blood. It seems like this happens to someone every year in college basketball but it’s not typically a massive celebrity’s son or a top recruit.

    I hope he is okay.

I am a USC fan but I hope he doesn’t play anytime soon, if ever again. He doesn’t need the money.

Go do great things away from basketball.
