    American will have to learn that even china let Tesla into their market with red carpet to increase the competitiveness of their car companies

      That’s why the US will lose in the long run. China actively embraced Tesla even though at that time Tesla was far superior to their domestic brands. But this accelerated competition and innovation. The US is doing the opposite.

    In the top 10 most sold cars in the U.S. today, 5 are Japanese.

    If Chinese car companies start opening factories in the U.S., Like Japan did, within a few years, there will be a few Chinese cars in that top 10.

    They won’t get EV subsidies, so they’d have to make them super cheap. I just got my new EUV for what will effectively be 19k after rebates and tax incentives. Could make them available for under 20k.
