That’s ur tire rod
You lost a tie rod.
Tow it to a shop, have them replace them all. Check the balljoints while they’re at it
Look inside the joint to that tie rod. It looks as dry as the asphalt beneath it, I highly doubt this wasn’t making horrendous noise. If you don’t shake the suspension while the wheel is up you’re ignoring a critical maintenance check on your vehicle which would definitely have revealed this before it failed.
Nothing wrong with tires unless you mean why they point in different directions? That is your outer tie rod hanging there, the socket portion anyway, the ball part is likely still bolted to the steering knuckle. I would seriously reconsider your choice to have your dad maintain your vehicle. While it is clear he was trying to help, his expertise does not seem to be car maintenance, no offense meant. Regular visits to a reputable garage would have caught this before it failed like that, you could be dead had it failed somewhere dangerous like a high speed corner…
What in the heck kind of maintenance is this… there’s quite a few instances of steering and control systems just failing. When oil is being changed, tires rotated etc these items should at least be glanced at. I get it some items just fail out of the blue but other times the vehicle is telling you that something is wrong or failing.
Looks like my issue last month, lost ya control arm
Tires look fine. Tie rod not so much.
2011-2023 toyota camry?
Your tierod broke my dude
Would this had noticed at maintenence check?
Your tire is fine. Your tierod however… it seems you have neglected maintenance…
Your tie rod end is busted. Will need to be replaced
Your tie rod is tired of holding the tire
