Can you open the Steam Client in Desktop mode? Maybe try switching to a different channel, like the beta channel there.

I have the same problem, though i attribute it to placing with emulation. My problem occurred after removing some of the emulated games from my library. Quick fix: Just access the search bar on the top, and you will see your library content again.
