Is this a Turbo S? I went to the back to look at the badge, but it didn't have one.

Turbo, I think, because it only has turbo rims, not the turbo S rims

I wish that was more common among manufacturers. It’s one of the first things I do to all of my vehicles.

It’s what you’re saying, but they call it de-badging. More accurately never badge.

Doesn’t the Turbo have one set of DRL and the Turbo S have two sets?

I know someone who got just the regular 992 Turbo because the carbon ceramic brakes annoyed him in his 991 Turbo S.

Those are problems I would like to have…

Another person I know had the problem that he wasn’t able to get his GT3 Touring new, so he had to buy it used (with like 500km)… it wasn’t in the paint he wanted the most :(

The most distinct difference besides the badge are the brakes. The regular Turbo comes with steel brakes as standard while the S features the carbon ceramics from factory. So if it had ‘small’ brakes with red or black calipers, it was a non-S.

Apart from that, if the owner didn’t order sports-exhaust, the quad exhaust-tips on a Turbo are finished in chrome, the ones on the S are finished in black.

You can get 5 bolts on the Turbo S as a no cost option. Some people do to avoid the centerlocks and some people like the Turbo wheels as seen here

You can, but you might as well just get a turbo s at that point. The price difference between a Turbo and Turbo S is £20k, and PCCB is £8k. Also it’s really uncommon for people to spec PCCB on anything that isn’t a GT series car.
