I also do this, but with controller configs. I do like to customise a lot.
What are you using I want my home to look like that
Here you go and let me know if there’s any questions!

- DellyVolume (“spring” animation)
- Game Header Text Stroke
- Gradient Top Bar
- No Home Edge Fade
- No Home Filter (opacity control at 100, hero change animation “on”)
- Obsidian (main color “black”)

- Top Bar Transparency (Transparency at .0, always add transparency “on”)
I created two “Profiles” within the CSS Loader, one at “Default” (i.e. steam default) and one as “Clean” (i.e. all my stuff “on”). I messed with these for a while until I figured out what each one really did and what I liked/didn’t like. Just try stuff out and see what works and you can always go back to “Default” if you’d like!
I’m afraid the same thing happens to a lot of people (more time tinkering than playing).
That’s why I’ll start with the Deck by playing some bargain games that I hope to see in the Steam “autumn sales”.
That’s why for the first couple of months I had a fairly strict “no desktop mode” self imposition. Kept it to Steam Games and tinkering only within what was available in settings do I wouldn’t go down modding, emulation, sideloading rabbit holes.
I fully agree with you. I just bought a Steam Deck and as soon as it arrives I’ll do the same (at least for quite a while).
You’re going to have a great time! What are you going to play first?
I don’t know exactly yet. Any game I have in my Steam library but don’t have installed on my PC.
Same here! The moment I started adding emulation a few months in, I got choice paralysis. Generally it’s best to only tinker once you begin to get bored or want more from your device. Doing it from the start is often incessant.
I NEED NOW

´whats the point of it? never looked into decky
Glad to see people enjoying CSS Loader :)
Nope. I spend too much time tinkering and playing.
Does decky loader play time work still?
How did you get the over-exaggerated game cover bottom shine?
Well, just consider it a free game.
This and wallpaper engine on my PC see the most play time then.
Lost your css mods please

I got my OLED LE yesterday and I spent the first few hours installing emudeck and decky and then configuring them. Still need to do a little bit of tweaking to get it perfect imo.
Thanks everyone! Here’s my profile and let me know if there’s any questions. I’m not an expert but happy to help any way I can!
(*try enabling “Art Hero” last if the screen doesn’t look like mine… for some reason, the order you enable things can affect the final product)
(*OH and SteamGridDB for the artwork! plus, I just noticed there’s a feature included called “Capsule Glow” that I have maxed out - adds more shine to the games)
