Wasn’t there a guy in Texas scamming people too? Started with 300Cs and then did Vipers? Lots of stories about parting cars out and blowing up engines… his name was John I think? John Hennes-something?

The Florida car enthusiast scene is full of some of the sleaziest people I’ve ever met.

Wow, I remember this guy from the early 2000’s when stories of him scamming people were shared on message boards. Unbelievable that he has kept it going this long, some people are really fucking stupid. Reminds me of tommyfyeah.

This is a common theme with lots of mom and pop “tuner” shops. It’s a shady scene and when you find the good ones, support those ones!

I’m a MINI certified master tech and I left the dealership/industry last year because the dealership I worked at turned into every other one with their greedy bullshit.

Anyways, I now do a job that allows me plenty of free time so I offered my automotive services in the local Facebook group for MINI owners and enthusiasts.

So far I have gotten a phenomenal reputation because I do what I say I will and my prices are essentially the cheapest around. Reading this story and many more like it, it’s crazy how horrible some shop owners can be and how they have absolutely no fucking morals.

It really doesn’t take much to be a good human being.
