What year b58s?

I got this letter the day after I got my car back from dealer to replace my PCV. :)

I’m deleting that pos with a Ross racing kit, lol

BMWs always had shitty pcv systems. Even my s52 had an issue with the oil separator burning all my oil lol.

Got this and I was wondering (I know) - Doesn’t BMW maintenance call for the VCG to be replaced with the PCV albeit not connected? I know this doesn’t cover the VCG but that seems conveniently contrary. Sorry if I’m full of shit on the correlation. Either way I doubt I’ll be able to recoup anything I put out myself. All told this isn’t that great… to fix it the part is like $20 and I takes all of 5-10 minutes.
