2005 Toyota Corolla LE 220k miles rear wheel bearing, what brand would you consider? I’m leaning towards TimKen but I’m open for opinions

    I just put in some National yesterday. They compare well to the Toyota ones I just took off. Rockauto usually has them - probably lower on that very screen/page.

    You should just press in your own timkens bearings with a press kit. You can rent em from any auto parts store. You’ll just need 1/2” ratchet and a mounted vice

    You can replace all your bearings and still be below the price of one of those kits

    With that many miles on the car I’d go with SKF. You’re most likely going to buy another car before it wears out again. SKF bearings are well made.

    I used ACDelco from autozone in a pinch one time. First one lasted 100miles, second one lasted 1-2k, third one is the next guys issue. They did not argue the warranty replacement one bit, I wonder why?
