    Feeding tube for gallbladder removal? Or was this more involved? Usually it’s done liproscopic and you get sent home same day with just some dietary restrictions.

    Question from an interested medical professional. Do you taste the TPN while it’s infusing or anything like that? Always was curious but never got the opportunity to ask patients

      Every now and then I taste something that resembles what I think the Nestle unflavored Fiber source tastes like. But it could just be the smell. My tube goes so far that I don’t think any of it can really come back up. Or close anyway.

    Did they take out the whole thing or just half? If they only removed half, they did they put the tube in?

    I had mined removed back in May, and they sent me home with that tube for 2 weeks, and I couldn’t do anything but be at home.

      They took that whole thing. My other reply about how the pancreas is pissed off is why I was sent home with the feeder. Just trying to ease back into it. Two weeks with this thing would drive me crazy. I disconnect every chance I can get.
