I’m looking to buy a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan and noticed this in the photos.

It’s a bit of a drive for me to go there and I have no additional info. The seller said that’s just the canvas shade and it always hangs like that.

I haven’t seen one retracted only one on fully so I’m not sure if it’s actually broken or that’s just how it is when it’s actually retracted.

Does it not just go back into the roof and not hang like that?
