[November 18, 2023] Alan Wake 2 v1.0.12 Update Released Today!

Alan Wake 2 (v1.0.12) 16GB RAM Requirement Removed/Fixed! Works on both SteamOS and Windows 10/11!

I’ve modified the .exe file of the latest version (1.0.12) of Alan Wake 2 to remove the 16GB RAM requirements error when starting the game.

You can now start the game even with 4GB VRAM without the need to change it to 256MB VRAM.

NOTE: You must update the game first to the latest version (1.0.12) before applying the modified .exe!

Installation Instruction: Extract the archive and just copy the modified .exe and paste it in the game’s directory, replacing the original file.
