    Cool idea. But it’s a Hyundai. I wonder if Amazon will sell good cars.

    People really need to read the article. Dealers will still be the end seller and Amazon is just the marketplace. This cuts out the salesmen from the process but not any markups/warranties/required options that a dealer would normally add to a car. They can still do that.

    That’s good, I’ve been on a waiting list for a Kia EV6 for 2 years, and have friends who have been waiting for Ionic 5s that never materialized. Maybe I’ll be able to get one shipped to my house with a free trial of Amazon Prime with next day delivery!

    I really think Honda and Ford need a direct to consumer model too. Ford probably upsells really well on their F150 models though. They could just make those in person since they’re considered farming vehicles.
