The network rivalry between T-Mobile and Verizon is alive and well, as evidenced by the latest Opensignal reports on 5G experience and coverage.
Verizon beat T-Mobile in the 5G upload speed category with a score of 18.5 Mbps, breaking T-Mobile’s streak of seven consecutive wins, according to Opensignal. T-Mobile’s score was 18.2 Mbps.
For what it’s worth, I’m very satisfied with my switch from Verizon to Google Fi, which runs in the T-Mobile infrastructure. Paying less and getting more.
Nice. I’m on the Visible + plan paying $35 monthly. I prefer Verizon’s infrastructure and tech stack over that of TMobile.
Give me robust coverage, idgaf about speed anymore!
I agree, Verizon definitely has to and will densify. Earlier this year they inked a deal with Vertical Bridge to help build out the small cells coast to coast.
